Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 11, 2026

Custom PC Systems ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our website and PC assembly services.

1. Information We Collect

When you submit a build request through our website, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), shipping address, and details about the PC components you wish to have assembled. We also collect standard server log data when you visit our site, including your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics services.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide solely to fulfill your build request and communicate with you about your order. This includes: processing and managing your assembly order, sending order confirmations and status updates, responding to your questions and support requests, and shipping your completed build back to you. We do not use your information for marketing purposes without your explicit consent, and we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to complete your order (e.g., shipping carriers).

3. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill your order and comply with our legal obligations. Build request records, including your contact information and component details, are retained for a minimum of two years for warranty and support purposes. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us, subject to any legal retention requirements.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. Our website uses HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. Build request submissions are transmitted securely and stored with access restricted to authorized personnel only. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

We use shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS) to deliver completed builds. These carriers receive only the information necessary to complete delivery — your name and shipping address. We do not share your email address, phone number, or build details with shipping carriers beyond what is required for the shipment label. Our website is hosted on GoDaddy's platform. Please refer to GoDaddy's privacy policy for information about their data practices.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below. We will respond to your request within 30 days. If you are located in California, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). If you are located in the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

7. Cookies

Our website uses only essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. Essential cookies may include session cookies that expire when you close your browser. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but this may affect the functionality of our website.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete that information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Contact Us
